Mahindra started its journey in the two wheeler market of India by acquiring Kinetic Automobiles. While the company, named as ‘Mahindra 2Wheelers’, retained the product lineup of Kinetic after the acquisition, the Rodeo 125 happened to be Mahindra’s first all new scooter after appearing into the scene.
Though the Rodeo was one of the most value for money scooters at that time with its long list of practical and youthful features as well as a punchy 125cc engine underneath its skin, the scooter never set the sales charts on fire, particularly due to more sorted out competitors from Honda, Suzuki and TVS.
