I had been reading reviews for last two years on Mouthshut for Scorpio. The Car I dreamt of which ultimate I am Owning. Thanks to Mounthshut / Users and of course Mahindra to such a wonderful Present to the the Customers. I bought the SLX model in Nov’06.
I certainly thought it is necessary to share my experience with others as it helped me too at some point.

Buying Experience:

I bought Car in Ratnagiri from Naik Motors. Since it is not big city, I was given Red Carpet treatment while buying the Car. Nicely decorated car was handed over to me. I would amazed to see the Customer Service at such a not very famous place of Maharashtra.

***Interiors:
**Fantastic inteiriors except Dash Borad should shave been provided with more space.** **I am fond of loud music, so I would rate average for music system. Really Mahindra should offer branded one. About Space, Front row - Drink Holder space is much needed for Driver and some CD space would have been great. Middle row - perfect with leg space and A/C blower effect given independently. End Row: You are at the mercy of the middle row occupants for both AC and space!
**Ride:
**You feel proud while waiting for Signal to trun green. Who dares even compete with you. Excellent Pick up. In just 4 months I have completed 15000 KM but never felt tired of driving.
**Fuel Efficiency:
**Never noticed, I just love Scorpio!
**Looks: **Killer on the Road
**Things for Improvements:
**I just had unpleasant experience with Fuel Filter Element. It got damanged due to water inside it. Had to replace with new one. I was told by Mahindra Technicians that if you often drive car Below Reserve Level then you face this problem. So lesson learnt for being lazy. Never wait till car gets to Reserve fuel level.
If Last row gets bit more leg space would be really ideal though I got all front facing seats.
