Let me share with you all my bad experience in trying to buy a Scorpio CRDe SLX (new model) I booked by Scoprio CRDe SLX(new model) on 2nd April with Vijai Auto Sales in Bangalore. I was promised a vehicle within 4 weeks. 4 weeks came and went and no response from Vijai Sales. I had to keep calling the sales guy to find out the status. Sales guys never responded gave some crap answer next week we will get the vehicle and all. After 6 weeks I got fed up and I called their Sales guy and asked them to cancel my booking and refund my 50 K. Suddenly their Sales Manager calls me and promised me that 26th May I will get my Scorpio for sure. I said OK I will wait for another 2 weeks. As soon as 26th May was arriving Scorpio sales guys started avoiding my calls and said definitly I will get it on 26th. On 26th May they informed me that I can get Scorpio only on 15th June and they CANNOT promise it. So I just got fed-up of chasing Mahindra guys to buy a vehicle worth 10 Lakhs. I just went ahead and cancelled my booking and got the refund on 28th May. Mahindra & Mahindra and they dealer gave me a feeling that you are useless and whats there if you want to buy a car there are so many more who are waiting for Scorpio. My suggestion to all the Mahindra Company folks on this forum to take a note of this that a customer who is willing to spend 10 Lakhs on your car should be treated a little better. Any other car manufacture in India (Toyota, Honda, GM, Ford, Hyundai etc) are all going out of their way to please customer and give them a good service experience. All this demand for new model for Scorpio will not last longer if this kind of shoddy customer service is provided by Mahindra and its dealer.
Finally I decided to go for Toyota Innova and got the delivery of my car in flat 4 days. It was a virtual door step delivery by Nandi Toyota
