This is my third Scorepio. Baught six months back, fully loaded hybrid euro IV model. Took it to Delhi- Jodhpur and onward to Jaiselmer in a 5 day trip. Stopping at jodhpur one night, jaiselmer one night, onward to sand dunes and stayed in tents one night, back to jodhpur one night and back to Delhi from Jodhpur next day.
We were 5 families travelling in two Scorpio and one toyota corolla. It was a great driving experience as the road from Delhi to Jodhpur and Jodhpur to Jaiselmer is in great condition and among the best highways in the cuntry. The scorpios performed perfectly, a great feel at 120-140 km/hr, very smooth engine at high speed, low sound inside the cabin and good control.
No failure of any kind including puncture. Fuel Consumption was not very good, and fuel gauge was suspect. Barring above two comments I am delighted with the performance of Scorpio and the roads. all interested in great drive of 600km from Delhi to jodhpur and 270 Km, Jodhpur to Jailselmer , 35 Km Jaiselmer to Sam Dunes is a great driving experience, take this trip and you will not regret it. Scorpio is ideal for all such trips.
