New 5 Link Suspension Scorpio

Buying Experience - Vijai Auto, Koramangala, Bangalore did a decent job of getting me test drive, as well as helping answer questions and choosing the accessories, I wanted.

Plastics, handles and Knobs - Average quality

Seats and Space - 7 Seater is fantastic, beige interiors are quite cool and give a spacy feel.

A/C - Very rocking

Ride Quality - Much better than the earlier scorpio models but still quite jeep like but then what it can do while gliding over the scariest cratered roads, no car can do, all the skoda, honda, toyota types get killed on these stretches, while the scorpio just rolls, which is incidentally a good time to overtake them!

Handling & Steering Inputs - Much better and its easier to ’locate your wheel’ now as compared to the other models but it can still get better. On the highway or on rough surfaces like broken roads this is a hooligan tool from hell. The buses, trucks, and everyone else on the highway will respect you.

Fuel & Average - Diesel, 9 in the city and 13ish on the highway.

Brakes - Overservoed and will bite and jam if pressed hard but adequate now as compared to earlier models.

Alloy Wheels give far better handling, average and ride quality.

Overall, its a far better vehicle that it used to be both in urban or rough use. Better than cars because of the quality of the roads, flooding and other assorted perils of Indian roads.
