I just purchased a new Scorpio(September 2011) and it has already broken down.
The Clutch Paddle has gone free.
I came to the office in the morning(it was fine then) and in the evening the clutch paddle had gone free…just like that.
The clutch problem started 2-3 months after the purchase…getting stuck for 2-3 seconds while driving.
I got its 1st service done on time on 3rd Feb 2012 and informed them about the problem as well for which I was assured the correct measures have been taken.
I have heard that this is an usual problem occurring with almost 75% of the Scorpios.
I hope you people at Mahindra take proper measure for this.
I don’t think after this incident I’ll suggest anyone to buy this car.
