I am a Scorpio user and still consider that, Scorpio is a All Fit vehicle at the price and Indian conditions. I am using Scorpio for more than 5 years now. However, due to certain policy of Mahindra, things are going to be tough. I am in Kochi – Kerala, where Mahindra vehicles are sold and serviced by TVS. They are having just one service centre in Ernakulam/Kochi and one Body Workshop.
The waiting period for a service is over 1 week and small body works, you have to wait in queue for more than 3 weeks for your vehicle to get attended to. There is no scope for JUST IN TIME service. If you have an immediate problem with, say your brakes, there is no one to attend to. The standard reply will be, give the vehicle, and we will check and get back to you in 2-3 days time. What if you are one a trip and you have this complaint to attend to immediately?
Scorpio is having a large user base here, either TVS should open more service centres or Mahindra should appoint more dealers as done by other players in the market. Otherwise, soon, people will opt out of Mahindra due to very very poor AFTER SALES SERVICE. I am suffering and so are many others… in Kochi/Kerala I don’t know about other places.
