I bought Mahindra Scorpio SLX 2.6 in April 2006, soon after 1.5 years problem of body rusting came into the notice, which was overlooked, but soon after second anniversary of the vehicle the rust on the body frame was so apparent that I have to complain to the Mahindra.
The outcome was not so consumer friendly, it took more than 6 months of consistent followup’s, then Mahindra authorized the New Delhi dealer Sri Durga to perform the Anti-rusting of the vehicle. It was the past, now, in it’s third anniversary in 2009 summers, the rusting came again, and this time it came saying "stop me if you can". Again the series of followup’s began, and now, in 2010 summers on advise of Mahindra New Delhi Dealer Sri Durga offered to cure the vehical rusting on cost sharing basis, which I declined, as I feel I have been given a defective piece at the first place , or it can be that Mahindra vehicals are not trust worthy, I spent close to 10.25 Lacs of rupees thinking that I will have a good vehicle for quite a time around, but at the end of 4.5 years I feel I made a wrong choice, I must had gone for some better brand to save my hard earned money.
Today again I am on the mercy of the Mahindra, for help, which I am confident that it will never happen and I have lost the vehicle, as you can see the photos, in few month or may be a year the vehicle will be a rust bucket, nothing else.
