Being an XUV owner from past 2 years and being through test drives of most SUVs currently present, if you are looking for value for money, XUV500 stands at the top undefeated. If you are on a fixed budget of about 15-18 lakhs, XUV models are the best in class with the W10 being the fully loaded variant.
XUV comes loaded with many distinct features that most of the vendors do not provide in this price range. Of course, if you have a higher budget, Fortuner an Endeavor are better choices but they involve huge amounts of money.
XUV has ample legroom in the 2nd row giving you a lounge type experience, however, the space in the third row is comparatively less and basically made for smaller kids in the family. It becomes a bit more uncomfortable for adults in the third row.
As far as features are considered, XUV is unmatched in looks and power. Having a 2200 CC engine, it has a great pick up on speed. Safety features such as traction control, Hill ascend descend, and electronic stability helps to keep the vehicle in control in most of the situations. Twin pod cluster instrument display and a good touchscreen with navigation is soothing on the eyes. There is plenty of small storage areas spread across the car and the drive is pleasing with a very soft steering.
Of course, Innova has better space, but then that comes in the category of MUVs and not SUVs with rather bland monotonous boring looks.
If you are looking for sporty looks with good road presence, XUV it is making a hole of nearly 17 lakhs in your pocket.
