Hello fellas. am writing my review again on this car.
Since our family is a Big Family we need a 7 seat car. But not so expensive and costly, AS we were making plans, Mahindra XUV 500 was revealed. Its looks seemed to be very good. after the day its features and detailed specifications were told. I got attracted to this car. We were having options among Fortuner and XUV 5oo. and today I got its test drive. The drive is better than Safari and Scorpio(as I have driven both during my college days). The interior material used in it seems to be of low quality, though the material used is hard and steady, but it seems like it has not been finished well. But what it ensures is it would be the same after 3-4 years as it is today.(plz note material used is hard robust and good.but finishing and fitting is not so fine).
About driving - After driving Q5 for an year, driving XUV 5oo was supposed to be very low, but actually it surprised me that a car 1/3rd to the cost of Q5 performs really well. And I can promise, it would beat swift, Innova, endeavour, safari in
Acceleration
Top speed
Braking distance and time
Finally talking about the major plus point: its features
Its Having all the features which a 30-35 lac costing car does.(6 air bags, 4WD, All four ventilated disk brakes, auto headlamps, auto rain wipers, day headlight, ac control on all three rows, ABS with ESP, Steering mounted Audio and cruise control, follow me headlapms, Smart infotainment touch screen, DVD player, Tyre pressure monitor, Fully Functional GPS navigation system, And provision of Rear view Camera).
And comparing it with Toyota Fortuner, I find it to be a better choice considering its features and safety points.(Fortuner doesnt have rear disk brakes) I am making it a choice towards XUV5oo. After all its a Double value for money.
So If u could Compromise with its interior finishing, You should definitely go for this car, No company would give all this features and a nubile looking car at this price.
