Another bad experience with the Beast. While the Audio system was playing I heard a loud thud and no audio post that. The only way to have it working was to remove the key from the ignition and restart. It would work for 10 min and the whole exercise again how frustrating after having paid 15 Lacs. This was just the start, later the entire display panel went blank. I had no other option but to visit the dealer(Ananth Cars Pvt Ltd Bangalore) and to my surprise this is not something new. It is a know issue, the Silver box needs to be changed which is not in stock with Mahindra. I have been driving the vehicle for the last one month with no Audio system.
The only way we call put an end to these sort of issue’s.STOP BUYING THE VEHICLE. UNLESS THEY TAKE OWNERSHIP AND RESOLVE SALES OF XUV 500 SHOULD BE "0".

One thing I fail to understand why is Mahindra & Mahindra experimenting with customer’s when there is a clear R & D failure from their end.
Price is the only reason why people are buying this beast. After all these reviews people still buy expecting that everything will be fine. Only when they buy they realize.
SO THINK THINK THINK BEFORE YOUR THOUGHT GOES FOR XUV 500.
The only thing Dealer wants is a good feedback post your service( least bothered if the issue has been fixed or not)
