Last Sunday I got chance to take Test Drive of this new product and since then I’m looking around to write my review and just got time to do so.
First of all I would say that after a looooong period something is now in market from indian make which we’re all looking for.
I would try to summarize my 1st Hand Exp. in +ve & -ve:-

*1. The most spacicous of the MUV now available in INDIA
Powerful AC with individual Vents for all passengers
Insulation looks good to me. Hardly can hear engine noise inside
Best in class ground clearance. When you’re on Driver’s Seat you could feel you’re going to drive a Bus/Truck :) This is the best I got to see here
Very good suspension. Would take on bad roads with ease
*-ve
*1. The vehicle in which I took Test Drive had Hard Power Steering, Hard Clutch, Hard Brake. Not sure if this was to this car only or it’s in general. But I believe this shouldn’t be the case
- Looks could have been made better. Though not of much concern.
Fuel consumption I believe it should come to around 12 in City and 15 on Highway. Pick looks good to me with AC on.
Now, of the 4 Models that are out for this piece (E2, E4, E6 & E8), the 2 what I selected and I would suggest is go for E4 & E6. Rest two wont’ be price effective.
Then of this E4 & E6, if you’ve take finally 1 I would say go for E4 provided it has the Arm Rest for all the 4 Bucket Seats (for 7 seater). Rest everything is same for E4, & E6. E8 I don’t think is much useful expect for flight trays something I don’t think is going to attract customers. Rather they should have put atleast ABS if not Airbag.
E6 comes with Integrated Audio which I just didn’t like with the sound quality. If we go for E4, we’re going to have everything and add additional stuff’s for the cost you’re going to save on for E6.
Hope this is going to start a new era for big cars in India and also Toyota and GM would decrease their cost accordingly to stay in market.
Yes, lastly I would like to tell Mahindra to have better Customer Service. They look little bit dull in dealing with Customer’s unlike you get into Maruti, Honda. :) :)
