Fourth Review
Just completed 7500 Kms. Excellent performance. No complaints to write so far. Last month TVS called and infrmed about the free check-up. Promptly they rectified small problems pointed out by me. Excellent performance especially in city traffic. You can drive the vehicle as if a small car. Inteli-reverse is another smart and regular aid.
THIRD REVIEW (revised on 23/08/2009)
With great pleasure, I would like to inform that I booked for a Xylo E-8 ABS on 17/08/2009 at TVS, Trivandrum. They have delivered the vehicle on 21/08/09 T. Red with 7 seats. As already described in various comments by persons who have purchased, I do strongly support them in the extra ordinary performance of this vehicle. So far I have used this vehicle only around 150 Kms only. But the driving gives me an immense pleasure. Expect some hassles experienced from one of the dealers’ employees (this I will explain later), everything was smooth. They (TVS) have an excellent Sales Executive, Mr. Arun . He was totally helpful to me & when ever I called him he has provided the vehicle for various tests including parking at my home, Previously I was using a TATA INDIGO 2004 model.Contrary to reports, that car was a good one and given excellent service to me. Sluggish pick-up was the only compliant. From INDIGO to Xylo is totally different. The pick-up is exemplary. I am planning to have a long trip by next week end covering about 750 Kms. After that I will explain my experience in the new XYLO. So far it is wonderful.

FIRST REVIEW
So many articles were published already on the performance of Xylo. Many persons compared this vehicle at par with Innova which is almost 2 lakhs more than this vehicle which is point less. It is very imperative note that 100% persons, who purchased this vehicle are fully satisfied in the performance of this vehicle. This is most important. I have gone through several other vehicles performance pages in this blog including Fiat Linea. None of the other vehicles do have a 100% support from the actual buyers. So we can come to a conclusion that this vehicle is an excellent purchase for the amount spent on it.
How ever, I have observed 4 minus points to this vehicle. I had sent an e-mail to Maheendra immediately after I had a test drive
Absence of ABS
Lack of storage space
Unable to see the bonnet edge.
4.Cheap plastic used
Out of this the first point has been cleared by Maheendra. They have published that, they will be introducing ABS in E8 model soon. But it will be better if they would have considered in E6 models too. Rest of the points yet to be cleared by Maheendra. So I am waiting to become an owner of this vehicle after some more time may be when rectifying the observed faults by me, Hope that they will do it soon.
