I am surprised to see people comment on xylo on the negative side only. Can anyone explain the following difference;
i) At 8 lakhs, If a sedan 5 seater car has airbags and ABS, even with bad/medium plastics such as SX4 or Honda City or Ford Fiesta, is it a good VFM product? and if Xylo has a 3rd row accomadating 8 people comfortably with adequate legroom, why it is not a VFM product?
ii) Should people give preference to space of the car or safety? I totally agree M&M should have given atleast ABS, I wish they introduce E6i & E8i with ABS in next 3 months.(Hope M&M are watching this site) with additional 40K.
iii) Also Innova is unnecessarily overpriced in all cases. Why the hell 2.5V new Innova costs 13L with airbags/ABS that too without leather seats? Another idiotic thing I dont understand why are the sedans like Altis /Camry costs much higher than Innova? If quality is the issue, shame on Indian car makers, why not give good interiors and beat the competition. I like Maruti SX4 accomodated all the features of Honda City. I wish Indians cars introduce Indian version but a good competitor to foriegn cars. Xylo is an excellent starter on that strategy and good job by M&M.
I dont get the logic of overpricing the sedans than teh MUVs and SUVs at any cost!
