Awesome Trek At Mahuli Fort

I remember when we planned to go to the historical place as well as some trekking. The decision to go to the Mahuli fort which is near to the Asangaon. So we finally decided to travel via train to Asangaon. The fort can be seen from the train also.

The Mahuli Fort is full of nature and with various birds available to see in the forest.

We first reach to the Thane railway station then we pick up the Kasara train and we drop at Asangaon railway station. After reaching Asangaon railway station we took autorickshaw and went to Shahabad ST stand. From Shahabad St stand the STs are available to go to the Mahuli village so we did the same.

We pick up the ST and reach Mahuli Village. At the base of the Mahuli Village there is a small temple and near at the temple one food stall is there.

Please listen to the instruction given by villagers it will very helpful for your treck.

We first Filled up our all the water bottles and as instructed by villager we took another extra two water bottles.

The accommodation is available.

We went to the Mahuli fort in the rainy season. So start trekking with full of energy and spirits. The trake was not too hard at starting point after traking for 1hr and 45 min our all water bottel were empty and all of us wants water tow of my friends says guys lets quit this plan lets get back to home but afer some time two foreners come to us actually they said the drinkable water is available on the fort and thay give us a water. So hopefully we again start to trek but at the top, we did rock climbing for reaching the fort.

At safety point of view, I can say be safe and never go anywhere which you don’t know about the fort. Stay with your friends.
