It pays a glowing tribute to the pillars of Hindi commerical cinema: cliches, melodrama, cute n tough heroes, oh-so-lovely heriones, Gabbar villians, copycat music, et cetera while being extremely lovely. While trading the “Something for everyone” formula, it perhaps best justifies the concept of “unity in diversity” of today’s India. And, defines what cinema means for us –the Indians. We come to cinema to get ourselves entertained. That’s exactly what Main Hoon Na gives us – top class(sorry, mass :)) roller coaster ride !
Stars: 8.5/10 for classes looking for mass comedy 9.5/10 for masses looking for class comedy 0.0/10 for others.
Warning: Don’t forget to leave your brains and hearts at home.
