I just happened to watch the movie yesterday and I have mixed feelings about the movie. First of all the title ’’ Main Hoon Na’’ dosen’t match the movie shown. It is of little correlation with the entire script. It seems that the director adds the frequent utterances of the title to remind the viewers the name of the movie. SRK frequently repeats Main Hoon Na, out of no reason. The cast of the movie is good. All in all, its essentially a SRK movie, but Amrita Rao makes impact.
Sushmita Sen is merely confined to a cool chiffon dressed chica but her role is insignificant to the storyline. She teems up well with SRK to provide the necessary hilarious masala, otherwise she dosent impress. Zayed Khan comes in handy for dance sequences but hardly makes an impact. Suniel Shetty does justice to his role as the terrorist but his role is not convincing enough. The plot of the movie seems to be good in the start but soon gets disarrayed and disoriented.
The Operation Milaap and the security issue of Sanjana Bakshi is rather confusing. Farah Khan sounds rather confused as in to what to show. She constantly flits the storyline between Operation Milaap and Sanjana.The reasons for which Suniel Shetty becomes terrorist is not convincing.
Since the movie needs a villian, he’s there.The special effects are of real good quality and so is the cinematography. The movie is light hearted and but not the real good types. Its ok to watch it on CD player but is not the must watch in the movie hall types. Overall an OK movie and can be seen once. Farah Khan has definitely made a good attempt but a long road lies ahead to perfection.
