This movie may have been a below than average at the BO, but honestly guys, it really is worth watching at least once. its obvious and predictable by the title what the story is about. and I actually thought it would be a comedy when I first heard it. but it tells a ’’realistic’’ story and of a small village girl who reeeeally wants to become an actress. she’s verrrryyy naive and innocent and thinks the film world is a piece of cake. the only supporter of hers is her husband who she ’’conveniently’’ married just for freedom. basically it just shows how she struggles and meets the ’’wrong’’ crowd and people from the glamour world, the casting couch, etc.
i think antara mali acted splendidly as the very naive and innocent girl. im sure the simple and ordinary look of hers in the first half was important because shes from the village. but she transforms herself into an ultra glamorous heroine during the second half. I forgot the name of the hero, but he deserves an award for his adorable performance as the supportive friend/husband!!
basically its rangeela part 2, but you have GOTTA watch this film at least once!!
