Some will love it and some will hate it!Some will love it because they will enjoy it and those who will hate it, they will hate this movie because it`s the same Bollywood routine stuff, with Kareena Kapoor`s same old POO attitude and Hrithik Roshan`s same old pelvic thrust!But this fact cannot be denied that the film entertains!

THE CHARACTERS AND PERFORMANCES:
Prem(1)(Hrithik Roshan):Prem, is a young boy who loves sports and Sanjana.Prem, is an active, lively and a friendly person, who is made for Sanjana.Hrithik Roshancomes again after flops like Aap Mujhe Achay Lagne Lage, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum and Mujhse Dosti Karoge.This role is also not different than his pevious films.As the film has nothing new to offer, Hrithik`s role is also nothing new.Same old, sweet guy.Let`s hope in Koi Mil Gaya, he excels as a mental boy!
2.Sanjana(Kareena Kapoor):Sanjana, is a traditional yet modern girl, who in this modern world has not forgotten her Indian cultures and values.She is waiting for her Mr.right and when she meets Prem, she becomes his Diwani.Kareena Kapoor, has given alot of flops like Mujhse Dosti Karoge, Jeena Sirf Merre Liye, Talaash and Khushi.This time, like Hrithik, her role is also nothing new.In the first half, this role looks like the role of Poo and in the second half it is like the role she played in Yaadein.Still, she comes with a nice performance and in second half, she acts very well!
3.Prem(2):Prem, is the boss of the first Prem.He is completely an introvert, a sober and an intelligent person.He is a hard-working guy and he possesses all the qualities which a girl wants in her husband.Sanjana is lucky that a boy like Prem loves her, but does she love Prem(2)?Abhishek Bachchan, is an excellent performer and he has lived the role of Prem.He is a mature actor and it has been very unfair with him, that he has not gotten that much appreciation, he deserves.His dialogue delivery, screen presence and talent make him a great performer.One can find glimpses of young Ambitabh Bachchan, in him.In one simple word, he is excellent!
Other character artistes include Reema Lagoo, who has the same sweet Ma role.Farida Jalal is passable.Johnny Lever, as usual is irritating.Tanaaz Currim cannot act and Thank God she has not that much of role!Himani Shivpuri as Sanjana`s mother is alright.Pankaj Kapoor lends a commendable support.The two pets a dog and a parrot look stupid and the film looks more filmi with these two animals!
THE PLOT:
Sanjana, is a traditonal, sweet and fun-loving girl, who lives with her parents in Sunder Nagar and its her age of getting married, where as she is not interested in getting married.Her sister Roopa, who lives in U.S.A with her husband, tells her parents about a guy, whom she thinks will be the PERFECT man for Sanjana.Prem comes to Sunder Nagar and falls in love with Sanjana.He has to get married to Sanjana and afterwards, Sanjana also falls in love with him but a very big secret gets revealed.That is when, another Prem eneters the story, who is the boss of the first Prem.He falls deeply in love with Sanjana and now Sanjana has to choose the perfect Prem for her?Who is her Mr.Perfect, whom she will love till the end of the time.
THE WORK OF THE CREW:
Sooraj Barjatiya`s direction, is fair.He has handled the climax, very well, with utmost sincerity!Some scenes, really sound stupid and don`t make any sense, but the film is entertaining!The screenplay, is fine!At least the film doesn`t seem to be here-and-there!Rajan Kinagi`s cinematographyb is awesome and in songs like ’’Chali Aayi’’ and ’’Aur Mohabbat Hai’’, the scenes are shot beautifully.Jay Borade`s choreography is brilliant, especially in ’’Sanjana...I love you’’.Editing is poor in the first half, because there are some really stupid scenes, which could easily be edited!Anu Malik`s music is an asset and four songs are great, which are ’’Chali aayi’’, ’’O Ajnabee’’, ’’Ladka Yeh Kehta Hai’’ and ’’Aur Mohabbat Hai’’!
ON THE WHOLE:
’’Main Prem Ki Deewaani Hoon’’ is an entertainer and a fun to watch.There is music, romance, comedy and and excellent climax, so it is a good time-pass!But remember, there is nothing great in the film!
