A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT !

I am writing this review minutes after watching it.

Nothing compared to MPK, and HAHK.

Sooraj’s directorial skills seems to be sliding down with each new venture.

There is a lot of overacting, mushy dialogues, candy floss clothes and locales.

The story is about kareena meeting Hritik first, then meeting Abhishek later. Both are Prem , she should be choosing the second Prem , but cant leave the first coz

She says ’’MAIN PREM KI DEEWANI HUN’’

The first half of the movie is extremely empty headed and rotten. Girls from good colleges who are graduates are least bothered about their career or other interesting things. They only roam around in coloured skimpy outfits doing silly things like checking out Hritik’s legs, hands, eyes and calling him weird names like ’’love bhaiya’’ and what not. What on earth was that comical part all about ????? Anyone who enjoyed it , please explain.

Kareena’s character is supposed to be of a good student, fond of reading , poetry etc. All she does is kiddo stuff like fill Hritik’s cupboard with stuff toys to pain him, write silly notes on the wall to tease him (quite childish).

She doesnt have the basic curiosity like any normal girl today, to ask about Hritik’s multi millionaire business and how he manages all that.

Not her fault. She has no time to ask Hritik about his business empire etc as she was busy learning his hobbies like horse riding, under water diving and river rafting.

Well, No pain No gain ! she never asks him sensible questions and never knows about his real identity and later has a tough time.

And whats with her acting ? Same dresses - low waist boot cut jeans, same hair style, same kind of makeup, same hip gyrating dancing steps, same overly hyper energetic dialogue delivery. Still desperately clinging to her ’’Poo’’ image.

And Hritik..Ohh God. Isnt K3G, Mujhse Dosti karoge, and Na Tum Jaano Na Hum enough for him for a complete change of image ?

I really liked him in his first two films.

Now I am tired of his acting, same goody looks saying the same good guy dialogues and being a ’’ohhhh sho shweeeeeeeeet guy’’

Abhishekh was not bad. His character as a quiet guy came as a refreshing relief in the second half by which time I had got sick of the two high energy brats Hritik and Kareena.

Everyone was overacting, Reema and Himani were the same like in other movies, loaded with jewellery and mothering everyone around. Johnny Lever managed some good jokes and Pankaj Kapoor was sensible and restrained.

And Thank God they didnt put that ’’sugary’’ Alok Nath in the dad’s role to make matters worse.

Overall the movie is very disgusting. Waste of time and energy. Nothing sensible to see in there.
