WOW!! that was some movie and TORTURE I (or anybody who has had the oppurtunity to watch it) went thru for 3 and a half hours......GOSH! that is too loooooooong.
Suraj Barjataya needs to learn script writing and screenplay too. Script writing for he is not able to come up with even a single original script after MPK. If HAHK was a re-make of Nadiya ke us Paar, then MPKDH is a re-make of Chitchor. All re-vamped Chitchor.
Major flaw, was that he tried to make a fool out of people, that too the Indian audience by trying to make Sundernagar into Switzerland. That is too much of Make Believe World. Give it a break Suraj, are we that Dumb!??!!? He needs to learn about screenplay as it is the same in every movie no matter what the situation is.
If you do not have enough relatives to show then, show lot of friends, they will definitely make lot of noise too. People who liked it Deserve and Award more than the Director who had the guts to make it!
Acting:
Kareena
Thanks for being there in the industry. It is because of you that we can actually understand how well Rani acts. How can you understand the value of GOOD untill and unless you can not comapre with BAD. Rather I would say if Rani is BEST, then Kareena you have a tough time coming up the curve from WORST. I would not say that she is really bad. She did perfrom well in the scene where she has to express shyness in a manner taught by her MOM. Good job Kareena, one scene and one song .....oh how coudl I forget...one song which is really good to hear and has Kareena in the best shade is ’’Kasam ki kasam...’’. You are not bad Kareena as an actress, but the problem is that you have to be different with the character. the cabaret expressions in the ’’Bani bani prem deewani...’’ could have been avoided if you had thought from your mind. Please if your favourite actresses are Kajol and Karisma, then it is time you follow them gurlie.
Hrithik
The lesser said the better. Needs to know Imitating Salman khan is not a criteria for working in Suraj Barjatay movies. Overacting is his forte’.
Abhishek Bachchan
Oh Boy! Somebody as I always thought has definitely got the apt role for his caliber and charisma. Wow! wish he was there through out the movie. I guess that is where Suraj has behaved like a Shrewed business man, giving the best for the lesser amount of time. That does work. He is in his best till now. He has an amzing role and has performed it to the perfection. God bless Suraj Barjataya for incorporating Junior Bachchan in this otherwise, Drag and Drawl story.
Himani Shivpuri
She is around for so many years and still rocking! She is another one who makes the movie watchable. Her performance and presence makes the character more lively and believable. She could have done better with the role, provided the Director did not have his own limitations.
Pankaj Kapoor
Now, he has come of age and he realises that and exhibits it well with and in this movie. Playing a Father of the Bride is said than done, but then ask Pankaj Kapoor to excell in any performance and there he is. The only problem is that the relationship between Kareena and him could have been written in a more comprehensive manner. Again I go back to my Point Suraj, how about some writing skill practice.
Reema Lagoo
’’I will not speak much in this one and will go on expresisng a la the character Prem who is my Son’’. Yes, that is what it seems to be like mother Like Son. Reema alike Bachchan Junior’s charcter does all the expression thing from her behaviour and not much of talking. She is good, bt we wanted to know if Reema had no work in the film industry, because that could be the only reason for her to opt for a role which did not have any weightage as far as the performance goes.
Technicians
Has someone helped Suraj in Screenplay and Script writing, kudos to you. The movie you worked for is a BIG HIT. Now, I truly think you can definitely undersetimate Indians. Choreography was ok. Jay Boradey did try something different with ’’Sanjana I love....’’ and ’’Mohabbat hai...’’ . The cinematography was really good. Anu Malik has definitely come up with Good music in songs like ’’Aur mohabbat hai...’’ , ’’Kasam ki kasam hai.....’’, and Ofcourse the all energy filled ’’Teri zindagi main chali ayee...’’. Editing could have been better. Please do not get your movies special effects done by the company which made the Cockatoo.
