The songs from this movie are terribly, terribly dissappointing. I think the bad credit completely goes to suraj barjatya not only for picking the bad songs but selecting a music director different from the ones he had for MPK and HAHK!
these songs are done by anu malik, and narrowing it down I think the chose the wrong singers for the actors. first of all, chitra was a very very bad choice for someone like kareena! chitra has an extremely squeeeakkkyyyy and screeeaaachhyyy voice that matches with either the south indian actresses (which she sings for the most) OR someone like tabu and manisha (virasit-payali chun mun/bombay-kehena hi kya). kareena has a very big face, deeep voice and a baby voice like chitra JUST does NOT HER!
1- papa ki pari- very ridiculous song, we just forwarded it because its soo obnoxious. even the picturization looks so vulgar. its actually supposed to be a ’’father daughter’’ relations but kareena ruins it by wearing her cheap outfits and hugging her father. looks pathetic!
2- ladka yeh kahta hai- and no, neither does KK’s voice suit hrithik either. this song is not nice, you can forward this one too
3- teri zindagi mein- here goes chitra, again, with her squeeakky ’’aeeeiiii aaahoooo’’ that part either irritates the hell out of me or makes me roll on the ground with laughter
4- o ajnabi- this is the only saving grace. a very beautiful and graceful song with intense https://lyrics. especially the sadder version is really nice. absurdly, this is probably the least popular song out of the album for most people! but this is my only favorite one. definately listen to this, but DO NOT watch it with your parents!!! LOL
5- bani bani- stupid, slow, obnoxious, dumb, shall I go on??
6- aur mohabbat hai- EVEN MORE slow, stupid, obxnoxious and dumb. but the singer shaan has a very nice and deep voice, its wierd how anu malik gave him only two songs for abhishek, he should have song all of hrithik’s songs and KK abhishek’s!!
7- kasam ki kasam- another nice and beautiful song.
8- sanjana- STUPID STUPID STUPID SONG!!!! IM glad they finally deleted the damb thing out of the final edited portion. but unforunately I had the watch the song since I saw it in the theater way before they cut this part out.
well, thats all the songs that I remember, but if im not wrong I think there are 2 songs that im missing, but its no use anyways since most of these songs are stupid! oh well!!
