Mainland China serves the most authentic chinese cuisine. They have outlets in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai(2), Bangalore(2), Pune(2), Hyderabad and Chennai. This is owned and managed by Anjan Chatterjee. This same guy also owns another chain of restaurant by the name of Oh! Calcutta, I will write a review separately on that.
I happened to visit this restaurant a few times and I would rate this as the Best Chinese Restaurant in Delhi as well as in India. Right from reserving a table over the phone till walking out of the restaurant had been a pleasure for me.I reserved my table for Lunch on a sunday and on reaching I found my table was reserved and I did not have to wait a minute for my table. The vallet parking they provide is also quite professional and well managed.
Their menu starts from dimsums, spring rolls, fish, prawns, shrimps, crabs, ducks, chicken , lamb, squids and ofcourse vegetables for vegetarians. In some of their recipes they do use wine. They also serve alcoholic beverages. Thay also have a wide range of deserts like pancakes, ice creams etc.
Right from entering the restaurant one gets a feeling of Chinese decor, ambience and staff. Most of their staff are either Chinese or atleast look like Chinese.They serve a Chinese tea in small Chinese cups n saucers which is worth a try. A meal for two without alcohol would cost around Rs.2000/- It’s better to reserve a table if visiting on weekends or holidays.This is an ideal place to visit with Buisness Partners, friends, family and everybody else.
