Dear Friends.
I have bought a bajaj discover! on 21st of december & It has just completed 1000 kms. Company has recommended the maximum speed upto 40kmph for first 1000 kms. I have gone through this basics by driving in the range of 40-42 but sometimes at overtaking it goes upto 45kmph. I don’t think this will create any problems for the bike.
However I have gears probems since I bought it. Gears are making serious noise and are not smooth. I have to apply more pressure to shift them. I thought it would be clear in the first services, but it didn’t happen.
I am also getting a noise like(srsrsrsrsrssrrrsrsrssr) from the engine, and it not exciting at all!
I also have problem in fuel indicator. I am confused about that. If I have 2.2ltr fuel in the tank, which is the reserve capacity. Then fuel meter should indicate that. In fact a fuel meter shoudl indicated whatever fuel is there in the tank, so we can take appropriate action!
Please advise What I can do If problems still persists after second service
