For that 'Glossy Clean' Look

Every new owner - be it a two wheeler or a four wheeler -  would be too worried about keeping their vehicle sparkling clean. A clean and glossy looking bike is sure to get few heads turn.!

A simple and affordable solution for that’glossy/sparkling clean’ finish -  - use the coolant oil that is generally used in cutting machinces and lathes(please excuse if it sounds a bit desi or weird). Available in almost all the lubricant shops across the street corner!

WATER SERVICE: Typically every water service outlet uses diesel mixed with water to produce a compressed jet spray and clean the vehicle. Followed by this, the bike is washed with a good auto soap/shampoo and then perhaps a wax application to give a polished look.

A cheap yet useful alternative is to use the coolant oil, as mentioned above. This is a viscous fluid, dark brown in color and has to be mixed with water in a proportion of 1:3. Once it is mixed with water it turns into a milky white liquid(the actual coolant) which can then be sprayed on clean surface of bike/car. Wipe off with a soft dry cloth to produce a brilliant shine, which you would never have seen even in the best of wax polishes(say Formula 1 Carnauba Car Wax).

100 ml of this oil could cost about 10 bucks. This can be diluted with water to make a milky solution of 400ml, which would last for a good 40 to 50 washes. Try it!

I own a splendor and a Baleno - No expensive polishes - yet they look as good as new!
