When it comes to the proper maintenance of the bike, everyone has their own way to maintain the proper health and overall look of the bike, there are so many ways that tells you how you should maintain your new bike so I cant tell what should you choose but I can tell that what I do to keep my bike in a perfect situation.
1) I use this bike bajaj 200 NS and since bajaj bikes needs a lot of maintenance or they deteriorate soon so I make sure to get my bike service as per the dates. So my first tip is just dont let your service due, my bike has a digital meter that indicates a sign that tells me its time for servicing of bike
2)To keep my bike shinning I always keep it in shade and well covered. So my tip two is if you are not using your bike then keep it well covered.
3)I Keep the bike battery in good situation and wash my bike weekly and polish it well. Also I keep all the bolts of my bike perfectly tight, not a single one of them is loose and all the moving parts are well oiled.
I had purchased my bike seconed hand in 2014 at that time the bike was used for just 200 km so it was in a great situation.
Currently in 2017 I have used my bike 14000 Km and still it is working fine and in a great health. The mileage is around 22 kmpl and I always make sure to hit top speed everytime after service, so I made my top speed of 115 kmph last month and found that all the system of bike working still good.
