REFUND Make My Trip Booking ID - NF2293579545404

Make My Trip Booking ID - NF2293579545404 dt: 27 Jul 2016 I wish to inform that I had made a Flight booking for 2 adults from Bangalore to Cochin for travel date of 30 Jul 2016 by Flt OP-109 and return on 01 Aug 2016 by Flt OP-110. These bookings were make through travel portal Make My Trip.com. Make My Trip was paid RS. 8862/-, on 27 July 2016, by credit card. This amount was debitted to my Credit Card account within 3 minutes. I was informed by Air Pegasus by SMS, on 29 Jul 2016, at 18:11 hours, that Flt OP-109 has been cancelled due to technical reasons. As I am unable to fly out from Bangalore on 30 Jul 2016, therefore I was not available at Cochin to make the return journey on 01 Aug 2016, by Flt OP-110. In view of the above, I requested Make My Trip on 28 Jul 2016, to make 100% REFUND immediately. Make My Trip and the air operator had REGRETTED THE INCONVENIENCE cause to me and the family. I was travelling for MEDICAL treatment to Cochin, but could not keep this appointment due to flight cancellation for which I had to reschedule my appointment with my doctor at Cochin. I have been constantly lied to by Make My Trip regarding the REFUND for the past 23 days. They have also lie to me by on phone/emails that the complaint has been resolved. I checked with Citibank, who has confirmed that the REFUND was not received by them. My complaint to Make My Trip is registered with them as Reference Number: 160729-057064.

The current issue is not isolated to you but to many others who booked to fly on Air Pegasus through not only MakeMyTrip but other agencies including airline?s own website.When you make a booking, the fare amount is transferred to the airline. When a flight is cancelled or when a passenger decides to cancel, the due amount is received back from the airline which we refund back to the Customer.At this juncture, the airline has not refunded the due amount back to us. I hope you will at least appreciate that we don?t run the airline. The situation of Air Pegasus is well known to all of us. What I can assure you is that MakeMyTrip is not holding your money and never will. The moment we get this back from the airline we will start the refund process. I also assure you once again that the issue is faced by all flyers regardless of where and who they booked their ticket from.We are constantly asking the airline. We will begin refund the moment airline directs us to do so.Request your patience under these force majeure conditions.Assuring you best of our services.Team-MakeMyTrip Care
