Background of My Complaint
I booked my Maldives trip(Taj Coral Reef, 0205 June 2025, Booking ID: NL2203475217464) through MakeMyTrip. What should have been a dream holiday turned into a nightmare of cheating and broken promises:
⚠ Price Manipulation: I was cajoled into buying the package immediately, only to see the price drop by ₹;31, 000 within hours. When I raised this, MMT flatly refused to acknowledge the price drop or offer any resolution.
⚠ False All-Inclusive Claim: Package was sold as all-inclusive, but I was later told I had to pay extra Green Tax. Only after I objected did MMT backtrack.
⚠ Token Gesture: On 30 June, I was insulted with a ₹;5, 000 coupona cover-up that ignored both the financial loss and the unethical practice.
⚠ Ignored Resolution: On 14 July, I demanded an apology and claritycompletely ignored.
⚠ Empty Assurances: On 05 August, MMT promised their specialist team would call. As of 25 August20 days laterno one has contacted me.
This is not poor serviceit is dishonesty, evasion, and a total lack of accountability.
Do NOT trust MakeMyTrip.
They are unethical, unreliable, and dishonest. Their business thrives on price manipulation, false promises, token compensation, and sham assurances.
If they can cheat on a high-value international trip, they can cheat anyone.
👉 Bottom Line: Protect your hard-earned money and peace of mind. AVOID MakeMyTrip at all costs.
