Never book Airasia ticket on Makemytrip. The portal will send you a confirmation message after web check-in but after reaching the airport you will realize that web-check in hasnt been done. When you reach out to them on Twitter, their sloppy rat-ass customer care will respond after 3 days that the trip has been completed. how convenient. Omg! I never realized it got completed.
I had to download the Airasia app at the airport to do the web-check in. Due to the ongoing covid19 crisis, the AirAsia counter was closed, so I had to run here and there with my luggage.
When I highlighted this repeatedly on Twitter, Make my trip responded saying the inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.
Later they said that due to a technical glitch, the boarding pass sent to my email. I got a confirmation of web check-in, later when I opened the e-boarding pass it was corrupted as well. The web-check wasnt done, but the customer care kept saying different confusing things. How is receiving boarding pass a technical glitch?
I will never use MMT again. The way their customer care and the entire system works, maybe after reaching the airport you will realize that ticket wasnt booked at all.
