I went to Kashmir on 10 days holidays booked through MakeMyTrip. (Executive name: Azid ALi). I paid all the expense fifteen days in advance. When I was in Srinagar my car driver suddenly said that there is no petrol in the car and his owner didn’t give money to him. I spoke to the owner and he asked me to give him 3000 INR which he would return to me next day.
Luckily I had only 1500 INR with me at that time. So I gave him only 600 .and send my account number to the owner. It’s almost 10 days since I gave him money. He keeps telling me that he would transfer the money next day. However he never did. I was cheated by a Driver and his owner. Same thing happens with one of my fellow tourists and one of my friend. They never got their money back and so didn’t I.
One of my friend’s had given 5000. I was lucky that I gave only 600. I did write to MakeMyTrip about this but no response .So be careful while you travel to Kashmir and book you travel from MakeMyTrip.I am putting the details of owner and Tour operator for the benefit of tourist traveling to Kashmir.
