MMT Cancellation Policy Issues

I Had booked a ticket from Goa to Pune for 17th Feb on MMT for Neeta travels(NU27014940038593), but needed to cancel it because of a change in plan. When checked the Neeta’s website on 12th feb, the chart said I was eligible for a 90% refund since it was before 60 Hrs.


But on trying to cancel it through the Makemytrip site, it charges me 40% as a cancellation charge. On calling them up, they did not have an answer to the queries I posed and said would check with the superiors and get back.


This is the worst site I have booked tickets off, has a weird cancellation policy.


I would recommend to avoid booking via this site at any cost. I would rather go for Abhibus or redbus booking instead.

Dear Nehalparate,We are glad to inform that MakeMyTrip now has a corporate tie-up with Mouthshut to be able to connect with customers through the forum and respond to the complaint/grievance.In reference to your complaint, we have validated your case with our concerned team and found that at the time of booking this reservation below cancellation policy was quoted on our website which passenger has accepted and confirmed this booking accordingly. We also see that the same policy is advised on the Bus voucher which was shared with passenger from our end. As per the policy and looking at the date and time when cancellation request was made, it is INR 1080.00 penalty which we were supposed to charge on the booking and refund has been processed accordingly. Please also note that same penalty was advised to passenger at the time of cancellation( ONLINE).Please find the below cancellation policy for your reference. If cancelled within( From the time of Bus departure):-0 to 12 hrs:100%(2700.0 Rs.)12 to 24 hrs:75%(2025.0 Rs.)24 to 48 hrs:60%(1620.0 Rs.)48 hrs: and above 40%(1080.0 Rs.)We regret to inform you that we won’t be able to honor this case.
