When I first watched the trailer of Malaal, I thought that it'll be a good movie and a modern time love story but it was nothing what I expected.
The story of the movie is Shiva More ( Meezaan Jafri) is a middle class boy with no ambition in life falls in love with Aastha Pandey ( Sharmin Segal) who is an intelligent and educated girl. The typical Bollywood style of both the boy and the girl have problems with each other in first meeting and later they fall in love can be seen in this movie. After that the movie is just the same old smooth going love story with an old fashioned climax with sacrifice.
Besides from the outdated climax and slow pace of the movie the one thing that I liked about the movie is the acting of Meezaan and Sharmin and how they portrayed the character of Shiva and Aastha.
