TSH and Diagnostics Prescribed Unnecessarily

Dear Manipal Team,

Had been to Malathi Manipal Hospital for medical consultation for my family members from last 4 to 5 months. We have noticed that TSH test is prescribed for everyone when we had to consult the General Physician or Dermatologist for every visit and every-time, the report is normal. I request you to pls look into this and suggest the test to be done only on need basis after thorough investigation. I m not sure if anyone else might have faced this unnecessary test prescribed, if so pls share your experiences. Hoping the service will improve and will be in favour of patients.
