Malawi is commonly known as the warm heart of Africa, as it is located in the very centre of the continent. I grew up here as a child, and it is difficult fo me to be critical about it as I so much loved the life and the sights of this country.
Lake Malawi is the eight largest lake in the world. It is a producer of sugar and maize. It is home to a modest population of mixed culttures, mainily Native Africans, Indians and Britishers. It was under british rule before its independence and that culture can still be felt today. Peopla are warm and friendly and speak Chichewa
It is clad with mountains and waterfalls, lakes and farming fields, and cities in large scaped valleys. Trading being the main occupation of people.
It is famous for its large fish commonly known as Chambo. The song and dance of the natives is based on rythm and mythology and it very entertaining.
