Through the looking glass of teenage

The narrative is enjoyable and the story line keep the viewers glued even for re-runs of the same episode. The bonding between brothers, inspite of sibling rivalary in the face of a common foe, or a percieved foe(their parents), runs a common thread throughout the series.

Malcom being the most close to normal, (though in the "gifted" class and being a Krelboyne) is  a stark contrast to the very rebellious Francis, the bully Reese and the manipulativeDewey not to mention Jamie.

The love hate relationships between parents and children though sometimes a little exaggerated keeps the entire storyline as close to reality as one possibly can. It creates an affiliation for the vast majority of the urben middle class, in spite of where they come from.

Very entertaining! very true to the reality!
