I was working there in Maldives. I was in a software firms which installs software products in Resorts. So I have been to 2 resorts in my short tenure in Maldives. It was a very good experience going from Male’ city to resorts in Boats.
Male’ was the capital of the city and Airport is in the next island where you can reach by dhoni which will charge you around 1 dollar. Watching the landing and taking off of the flights from the runway is spectacular.
I have been to Bolifushi resort and RanVeli resort in Maldives. Both are 4 hours travel from Male’ city in speed boats. Both are small resorts, but they are very very beautiful resorts. They have long beaches with corals, fishes etc. They have scuba diving, yatching etc., there.
Climate will be always good in maldives. It is good to visit maldives during Jan-Mar season which is very good season.
