Its the biggest scam place… I travelled Maldives during this covid period… I booked a private island worth 60000 per day… just before the day they took RTPCR test and my whole family been tested positive.. They sent us to quarantine facilities which were owned by the same island owners and were been there for another 14 days and costed around 800000(8Lakh INR) .. We argued to take the RTPCR since we were vaccinated both the doses but still they are not ready to hear us.. Then we finally came to know that it is a scam and many like us without any symptoms have been resulted positive and they were send to quarantine facilities and asked to pay more than what we paid… They haven’t returned my booking money 60k …which paid for private island… we haven’t even stay there but they didnt return… They are canclling our booking and allocating the same to others and earn from both… So people… BEWARE… ITS NOT THE PLACE TO VISIT ANYMORE…. THEY WILL LOOT YOUR MONEY….. Planning to take this issue to ministry of affairs and bring this scam to daylight….
