R K Narayan is the best writer for this book

Malgudi Days is a collection of short stories by R.K. Narayan published in 1943 . I read this book when I 13 years old.Yes the book is very nicely written by R K Narayan. The description is given by R K Laxman, the greatest artist in India of those times. He has written this book in a way that you can not exactly frame the ending of the story by yourself. This makes you stick to the story until it gets over.

I have jotted down the names of the stories that I prefer the most,

"An Astrologer’s Day"

"The Missing Mail"

"The Doctor’s Word":

"Gateman’s Gift"

"The Blind Dog"

"Fellow Feeling"

"The Tiger’s Claw

"Iswaran"

These stories are among the best stories.

I was very happy when the T V Series of the stories came in the door darshan, I would always never miss the episodes that came in the sundays.

Shankar Nag, the director of the stories has very descriptively displayed the characters. I loved those Stories in the form of episodes too.

So I would request the People to watch the Episodes and read the book also.
