My nephew spends hours and hours on the internet every day. He ties up the phone line, infuriates his sister and guess what? His mom(my sister) says it’s okay! Why, you ask? Because he’s on a new website called MaMaMedia.com!
When my sister checked it out she found it to be a completely controlled, website for kids!
This new site is fully approved by both parents and teachers. there is absolutely no objectionable material at all.
So....I checked it out myself and this is what I found.
here are just some of the things your kids can do on this site.
They can play games and send animated cards when you click on surprise. The games are basically educational in format. With names like, Botblox, card zapper, flipstix, mind bender and presto. And they don’t just click and send the cards, they have to create them as well.
Next they can click on buzz and join clubs such as, music clubs, computer clubs and sports and game clubs. Here they can also take kids polls, join the MaMa gang kids club and receive newsletters. There is also a section for shout out, where they can voice their own opinions.
Now they can click on zap and get to design their own computer wallpaper, more greeting cards, buttons, posters, and a great section to create interactive creatures.
Your kids get to send in jokes and stories, pictures and riddles and each week they get rated and chosen in the kid polls to see which the other kids liked best.
There are also online jigsaw puzzles and stick people animations for the kids to play with.
And, parents, don’t feel left out! Send you kids E-hugs through this site. Just join with your child, see what he or she is doing, and be able to use the parents section. Get advice and tips and check out the learning value of the things you child plays on this site.
it is a secure site, everything is rated G.
It’s a safe place to leave your kids for a while, to play and have fun.
