A perfect holiday destination


This jan I visited manali with my friends and the experience was quite excting which I want to share


It is a beautiful place to visit and you will get worth for your money  as there are many places to visit and number of activities to do so you will never get bored if you are not a adventure seeker then gazing the enriched beauty of this place will fill your heart and mind with memories that you will never forget! Do visit….!




  1. Best time to visit manali is December and January. If you are expecting to see snow.(ps it snows heavily sometimes in manali)




  2. If you want to visit Rohtang pass than the best time to visit is march because rest of the time the way is closed due to heavy snow…so always plan if visitng. And even if they police allow during the months of December and January there is always a risk of landslides because the snow accumulates and it becomes difficult to judge the depth of snow and thus becomes difficult to drive and accidents are common during this time




  3. There are many hotels to stay at manlai most of them affordable and quite decent so finding a hotel is not a big task.




  4. Tips while visiting






Pack for extreme cold weather because temperature drops below 0 degrees at night


If possible carry thermal clothes




  1. How to get there




Can travel till delhi via train and then board a bus or if travelling by private vehicle then there are two routes


First - delhi-chandighar-Ropar-bilaspur -mandi-kullu- manali


Second- delhi-kurushetra-shimla-mandi-kullu –manali




  1. Places to visit




Solang valley


It is best if you travel solang valley via road. The surroundings are beautiful with snow clad mountain’s and once you reach there just try a hot tea with Maggie wihich is alocal favourite man it tastes best


Beas Kund


It is the originating point of the holy beas river and is considered as sacred and it is said that great vyas took bath there. This sit carries religious significance and thus attracts many tourist and hundreds of devotes across the globe


Opening time is 6 am till 6 pm


And if you are a fanatic to take pictures than you are here for a treat Hadimba Temple


It is an historic temple built in 15th century for Hambika devi from Mahabharat. It is quite a nice place to visit but be sure to carry a sweater because on a windy day it will be difficult to stand and it becomes quite chilly

Bhuttico


Bhuttico is a cooperative shop established by a group of women in 1994 and is best known for shawls of different variety


If you visit do buy Pashmina shawl and Lambswool shawl


Manu Market


Manu market is like a urban market located in new manali. It is an Indian style market equipped with narrow lanes. You will get everything from shoes to clothing to jewellery and utensils and there are almost endless items to shop for. It is surrounded with beautiful forest and hills . The artefacts on display in the market catch visitors eye and if you visit don’t forget to buy garments footwear carpet and Tibetan jewellery


Mall Road


You can say this is a nerve place of Manali with plenty of places to eat and shop. You will find places that give you everything eat sleep and shop . You find here everything from shawls to key chains. Do not forget to buy shawls and Tibetian Handicrafts

Casa Bella Vista


It is cosy café and serves delicious Spanish and Italian dishes thin crust pizza with chilled beer yooo its heaven. With warm wooden interiors dinning here is delight there is small boutique for people who love shopping and a huge library for book worms

Delicious food and live music are there speciality it is famous for the Italian food they serve and the tunes they play if you ever visit don’t forget to taste

Trekking


Manali is absolute heaven for adventure seekers looking to take on hills . Manalis Mountaineering Institute offers several type of high altitude hiking and climbing options.


Skiing


Skking is another adventure activity for thrill seekers while visiting manali there is also a option for heli sking and mountain biking so the thrist for adrenaline will be quenched


River-Rafting


River rafting is another spot that is offered in manali and it is quite a thrill because the raft goes up and down with the water stream and on top of that the chilled water itf you ever visit manali you should do river rafting


Zorbing


Zorbing is on of a kind activity where you are put ina transparent ball and led down from a slop this is quite fun . It surely should not be missed


Nature walk


And if you are not much of thrill seeker just gaze the eternal beauty of this place and come close to nature just walk through the places and explore the villages
