I’ve seen all kinda hill stations, however solang valley above Manali and Rohtang Pass were simply a cut above the rest, in fact much much better than the rest.
If you havent seen these hill stations in India You sure have Missed out on something very very outrageous and exciting.
Snow views are terrific you would get to see much of it if you are heading there in winters.
In extreme winters you are prone to missing out the journey to rohtang pass which closes down due to excessive snowfall. So take care you time your journey well so that you can have the leisure to see both.
Skiing doesnt cost much of a heck but paragliding does cost you a lil’ on your pocket. So pack your purse with a li’l bit extra if you are headed here for adventure sports.
Facilities like Paragliding, trekking, rafting and much more offer a person everything who is inclined towards adventure sports.
Solang valley offers a list of hotels with a perfect view of snow covered mountains in the early winters and if you like chill do stay in some hotel at solan valley.
The temperatures dip to minus degrees in winters so you shall be advised for proper clothing.
If you are heading towards manali in Summers and staying there a sweat shirt shall do.
Overall its a splendid place and if you havent visited this place you sure haven’t one of the most wonderful destinations that himachal tourism provides.
