Guys I just visited manali. I was thinking if going to kashmir but I changed my mind and choose manali. In month of april also its too cold. The solong valley is awasome and paragliding is the main center of attraction. It costs you for abt 4000 rs. If you visit in may you may also get the change to visit the fabulous rohtanag pass. You can river rafting, go for bike ride or you can go for treking. The place is very safe and people are very friendly and helpfull in nature. As you enter manali you see snow covered mountains every where. Best time to visit March to May. Just pick up a bus from delhi in evening. A 4d and 3n trip would hardly cost you 10000 rs per person. A must visit for every indian.
