Manali is an amazing place to go and relax with your friends or family. I visited the place last year with ny friends and the place is really gorgeous. Salong valley where you can base jump. Beas river where you boat rafting that flows between the kullu valley and manali is a ain attraction. Many tourist come here to do this amazing adventurous thing.
Instead of just adventures there are many things to do like Hidimba temple, manikaran temple which is a 3-4km trek but the sight is so mesmerising that it just takes your breadth away. Also on the way is pandoh dam that you must see on the way. The rohtang pass is also amazing but the winds and cold is so strong it can shake the cars with you sitting inside.
I would recommend going there on winters as hotel accomodations are cheap and you can have great deal of one room with 5 people for just 600 per night.
There is one thing though the foreigners behaviour is not good and they think its their land as they have been here illegaly here for so long. Don’t listen to any of them as you find some, and if you do report to local authorities with their photos and it will sure will be deported and also they are here for drug trade that is really bad here of marijuana. So also be aware as many people durinh checking in public places place drugs to your luggage and you man not realise s always be aware.
But overall an really calm and peaceful place for your sore eyes. Love it
