We had been to Shimla - Manali last week. It was just wonderful. The place is Nature lovers paradise. First we reach Delhi by flight from Hyderabad and traveled till Kalka by Howrah kalka mail and reached kalka by morning 5;30am. Connecting train Shivlink express is the one which gives you joy and shows the beauty of the top hill stations. Journey from Kalka to Shimla is about 4hr, sure you enjoyed every moment.Reached Shimla @ 11:15am. With lots of expectations we reached hotel called "BRIDGE VIEW" . Soon we arrived the hotel we come to know that this is the one of the worst worst worst hotel in Shimla and which is not at all suitable to stay for a human beings.As we dont have time to rush here and there for other hotels we decided to stay at the same worst place. Soon we fresh up and go out of this hotel and rushed to KUFRI. Ohh god don’t know how we spend the night. Morning by 6 am we woke up and fresh and check out the room .
Hired a car ( Tata Indica) for 4500/- inclusive every thing to travel Manli from shimla, Rothang pass and manali sight seeing. ( Car with us for 2 nights and 3 days )
Went to Jakhu temple. One of the best place to visit in shimla. After spending 2 hr of very peaceful time in the temple premises started to manali. By evening 7pm we reached manali and directly go to hotel called " Honey Moon Inn".Very nice ambiance, hospitality is good and over all hotel is awesome.
Next day morning we went to Rothang Pass which is 50km form manali town.On the way to Rothang you will see the beauty of earth. Nice waterfalls.... top hills... river flows.... all together its fantastic journey ... All the beauty of my trip is here. One should not miss a single moment while traveling to Rothang. Evening returned to Hotel nd next day solong vally and local sight seeing ( Temples and rest..).... Next day we went to near hill stations. and evening returned to Delhi by Bus and back to Hyderabad by Flight.
Accommodation :: Think twice and thrice and book best hotel though it cost 100 or 200 rupees more.
Food ; IN shimla and Manali you will get all varieties of food.
Nothing much to see in Shimla. Shimla is over crowded.
Try to reserve entire day to Rothang Pass.
Possible go for para Gliding in Solang Vally in manali ( Cost 1200/- per person).
All together one should visit and enjoy the experience of Manali ........
