I had booked Virtual Private Server (VPS) from manas and the sales team called me almost 10 times to get the order and promised me that I can do all the things that I required by just buying the VPS. To get the credentials of VPS it took 10 days. When I logged on using remote desktop, I found nothing but just the OS installed. I could not create an FTP A/C nor could I share a folder to copy files. Sql Server was installed without Enterprise Manager. When I tried to contact the tech team on chat, they were offline most of the time. When I tried to contact the Bangalore No., the IVRS tells me to contact Hyderabad No. and when I contact Hyderabad the IVRS tells me to contact Bangalore.
They were simply harnessing and wasting my time. My client was pissed off with my excuses. All this was done I suppose deliberately so that I should purchase the control panel from them. So when I contacted the billing team, they again were very prompt to promise me that everything will be possible from the control panel. So I purchaces teh Control Panel too.. only to find out that the create database option shows MY Sql instead of MS SQL Server which I required. I created a FTP A/C but cannot connect from my FTP Client. Folder sharing option is there but the shared folder is not visible anywhere... I raised tickets for the same but there were no satisfying answers but only excuses. It seems the company is running by a hand full of novices in the background who are managing everything.
The control panel took 3 days to be installed which is absolutely ridiculous. If the product is already with you, it should not take so much time to install a product. Now the are telling me to buy a managed server at the cost of 6K a month. These people are simply cheats trying to mint money at the cost of our reputation. Please stay away from them and I urge all those who have been cheated to file a complaint in the consumer forum and get a refund of amount paid. I’m pushing for that. I have lost my calm and peace from the last 25 days that I have booked this service. Pls stay away from them.
