Mandu is the Historical place it located in the Malwa region, Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh State. Mandu also known as Mandavgad. There are many wonderful historical monuments. I have visited to Mandu many time because I’m also live in Dhar district and I like to visit Historical palces. Mandu due to its strategic position and natural defences is an important place with a rich and varied history.
Some of notable places:
Ship Place: Ship Place also known as JAHAJ MAHAL is a must visit place if you are in Mandu. A great piece of architecture. This is situated between tow artificial lakes, it appears as a ship floating in water.
Rani Rupmati Mahal: It an awesome place situated at top. Rani Rupmati used to see river narmada from this place. Asesome view from the top of this.
Hoshang Shah’s Tomb: Hoshang Shah’s Tomb is The India’s firs marble structure. It is look like The Taj Mahal. Good place to visit in mandu.
Baz Bahadur’s Mahal: Baz Bahadur the care taker of Malwa. Great view from it and architecture lovers will surely enjoy here.
Jama Masjid: This is the main attraction of the Mandu. This masjid has beautiful garden and equally pleasing rows of pillars and arches.
