Having been a patient in hospitals across the country, including
Manipal, for treatment of major ailments, I feel the need to add my two
paise!
A lot of how the staff of a hospital treats you depends on how
you treat them. If we are nice to them as patients and relatives, we
get the best out of them. If we are aggressive and keep looking to find
fault with them, then we will not get that little extra which is the
personal touch. They are also human beings (low-paid) and trying to do
their best. It is very difficult to try and insert a needle into a
person with a few aggressive people around waiting for you to make a
mistake. We all get what we sow.
No one seems to be making any noise
about why the poor boy lost his life....that is the accident! The
hospital and its staff are at the end of the chain, the in-disciplined
traffic and poor policing is much higher up.
