All folks beware !!! go to manipal hospital if u don’t value ur life...In between april 2009 & november 2009 my dad was admitted in Manipal hospital 12 times and the total bill came up to 24, 33, 785/- . (Nearly twenty five lakhs) !!! He was very healthy prior to April 2009. He used to go for regular check-ups and during one such opd check-up he was told to get admitted... there the problem started. a few doctors make sure that you come back again... and again...and again....
Ultimately in november he was admitted in room 1003 and after six days of admission the doctor said that he can be discharged. That evening he developed breathlessness... they shifted him to MICU......put him on ventilator . I think they try to put maximum number of patients in ventilator even if it is not required...... They couldn’t find what infection & where in the body the problem existed.... finally the morons called nephrologists diagnosed kidney failure. By then it was too late and he succumbed due to the excess acidosis in his blood ...... We the family were devasted. Now we are slowly coming to terms with the situation.
