Read many reviews about Manipal and other money making hospitals. In my personal experience, I find Apollo clinic, Koramngala (Opp. to Jyoti Nivas College) very professional and compassionate, and they charge reasonably. I had severe throat pain and since I don’t knwo any other hospital in the locality, I went to this hospital.
I was a bit nervous inside about the doctor and the kind of treatment they’re gonna give. But it turned out to be a pleasant experience for me. Since that was my first visit, I was asked to fill a small form (takes about 3 min) and in another 5 minutes, I could visit the ENT doctor. The doctor was also patient to listen to me and prescribed 2 IV injections for quick relief. She waited for me patiently when I consulted my friend over the phone whether to take the injections or not. She was nice enough to explain me the approximate cost for the injections, since I told her I didn’t bring enough money with me.
Patient treatment is excellent, right from the reception, staffs, nurses till you come out.
Quick service - you can meet the doctors soon; less waiting time. All the staffs are courteous and pleasant. It gives more of feeling at home. The treatment is also good.
People who are frustrated with other hospitals can try Apollo clinic. The hospital though is just one year old and hence not very famous like other hospitals.
