I took my wife who was healthy and doing good for a routine health check under the health package in Manipal . My wife was told to fast for 12-14 hours before the medical check up and drink for more than 10-12 glasses of water before coming for the check up .After all the formalities was over , it was more than 14 hours that she was fasting without any food or glucose, that she was asked to give blood for the blood sugar.If that was not enough , she was asked to take Idly, Vada, Upma and Coffee.
All super acidic food for a person who is fasting.The result was that she fainted after the food, vomited more than 6 times and was admitted in the casualty section.And to add to the negligence, there was not enough doctors at the casualty and 1-2 doctors were attending more than 12 patients. Worse than a govt primary hospital.
Really pathetic hospital.
